Laser Lipolysis
Laser Lipolysis is the treatment for you when you are looking to melt away pockets of stubborn fat that are resistant to diet and exercise alone.
You will immediately see a tighter, slimmer appearance in the treated areas, with continued improvement over several months.
If you are looking for a quick, comfortable way to sculpt areas of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise - such as the chin, neck, arms, flanks, abdomen, knees, hips, waist, thighs, buttocks, and male chest - Laser Lipolysis may be a good option for you. Whether you're looking for an alternative or a compliment to traditional liposuction, Laser Lipolysis is an excellent way to expertly address stubborn fat while firming skin. This is an ideal solution for reasonably fit candidates who have localized pockets of stubborn fat.
Laser Lipolysis allows for a faster recovery time than traditional Liposuction. You can generally return to normal activity within a few days rather than weeks. Laser Lipolysis does not require deep sedation or general anesthesia; instead, the treatment is done under local anesthetic. The treatment is quick, visible results are rapid, and downtime, bruising and discomfort are minimal.
Laser Lipolysis is achieved using Sciton's ProLipo Plus, a minimally invasive, laser-assisted lipolysis system. ProLipo delivers laser energy directly to areas of body fat through a slender fiber , liquefying the fat cells while contouring the body. The final result is the removal of targeted body fat and a firm, more attractive body contour.
Laser Lipolysis is done in a procedure room setting under local anesthesia rather than in a hospital or surgical center setting with deep sedation or general anesthesia. During the procedure, you will feel a little pressure. You may feel some slight discomfort but little to no pain; the sensation is comparable to a deep-tissue massage.
Typically, only one treatment is required. Results are typically visible very soon after the treatment and will continue to improve over several months, with full results in one year.
You will likely experience only minimal bruising and discomfort after the Laser Lipolysis treatment, and can expect to return to normal activities within a couple of days of the treatment. Discomfort should be treatable with acetaminophen (Tylenol). Your physician may suggest wearing a compression garment for a brief period.
In most cases, Laser Lipolysis does not cause scarring.
